{"id":4791,"date":"2026-08-28T11:05:58","date_gmt":"2026-08-28T09:05:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grzeg.web.amu.edu.pl\/?page_id=4791"},"modified":"2026-09-12T08:25:46","modified_gmt":"2026-09-12T06:25:46","slug":"atis","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/grzeg.web.amu.edu.pl\/?page_id=4791","title":{"rendered":"ATIS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-cover\"><span aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-cover__background has-background-dim\"><\/span><div class=\"wp-block-cover__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-cover-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Acting Techniques Intensive Seminar <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(2012\u201317) was a framework for research and learning-teaching of the performer\u2019s elementary and advanced skills, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>being open to dialogue and sharing with others<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>integration of action, silence, sound, and speech<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>reacting precisely with the body and voice to impulses from partners, environment, texts, images, music as well as from the inner sphere of associations, imagination and memories.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary>More<\/summary>\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ATIS was addressed to those international artists, researchers and students who wished to deepen their understanding of human creativity and expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Between 2012 and 2017, six seminars were held at Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU) in Pozna\u0144, three in Brzezinka (the Grotowski Institute\u2019s forest location) and one at the Universidad de Playa Ancha in Valpara\u00edso (Chile), together for more than 80 people from the following countries: Armenia, Chile, Cyprus, England, France, Greece, Hungary, India, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Scotland, Spain, Turkey, and the United States. In addition, we conducted several shorter work sessions in Tehran, at the University of Kent in Canterbury, at the Grotowski Institute\u2019s Studio na Grobli in Wroc\u0142aw, and at AMU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ATIS seminars resulted in the creation of, among others, the acting miniatures such as <em>Abel and Kain <\/em>by Mohammad Reza Aliakbari and Samaneh Zandinejad from Tehran and <em>Veronica\u2019s Double <\/em>by Andrea Madrid Mora from Barcelona. The seminar also became an incubator for the solo piece <em>Small House for the Dead<\/em>, created by Csongor K\u00f6ll\u0151 from the Shoshin Theatre Association (Romania) in collaboration with Grzegorz Zi\u00f3\u0142kowski. This performance \u2013 based on texts by Salvatore Quasimodo and Tadeusz R\u00f3\u017cewicz and performed with live accompaniment by Soma Salat-Zakari\u00e1s from the Little Light Consort (Switzerland) \u2013 was presented in Romania and Poland in English and Hungarian.
